🕵️‍♀️ Case Submission

We truly want to help. đź–¤ We want to spread awareness, amplify voices, and shine light on cases that need attention.

đź–¤ Case Submission Notice

We receive many case requests every single week, and each case takes real time to handle responsibly. Even researching the basics can take hours. Full coverage can take days, weeks, or even months depending on how much information is available and how much verifying needs to be done.

Because of that, we can’t accept “please cover this” requests without details. 🚫 If a request only includes links or asks us to “search it,” we don’t have enough context to know if it’s a case we can invest in or if it fits what our readers are here for.

âś… If you want Unsealed Evidence to consider covering a case, please submit as much information as possible up front so we can quickly review it and decide whether we can move forward.

Thank you for understanding — and for caring. 🖤✨

âť“ Case Submission FAQ

Why do you need details before reviewing a case?

We receive many submissions, and each case takes serious time to review responsibly. Without basic details, we can’t tell if the case is one we can invest hours (or longer) into.

What should I include in my request?

At minimum: the person’s name, location, date/timeline, and a short summary of what happened. Links are welcome, but they should not be the only thing submitted.

Why can’t I just send links or a Facebook group?

Even figuring out the basics can take hours. We need context first — otherwise we may spend time digging into a case that isn’t a fit for our platform or doesn’t have enough verified details to cover responsibly.

Will Unsealed Evidence cover every submitted case?

We wish we could, but full coverage can take days, weeks, or months. We choose cases based on available info, urgency, and what fits our readers and mission.

Do you charge to cover a case?

No. We do not charge families or submitters for coverage.

What happens after I submit a case with details?

We review it. If it’s a fit and we can verify enough to begin responsibly, we may reach out for more information or move it into our research pipeline.

Can I follow up?

Yes — but please wait at least two weeks due to message volume.
